Stock photos, illustrations, icons

While our free design elements provide a great base for your customization work, sometimes you just must have that particular image or illustration for your site. This is where stock images can help. There is a number of high quality stock image sites out there. Our sites of choice are:

Stock.XCHNG – the leading free stock photo site. Lots of choices here, the only caveat is that some images may not be used for commercial projects without authors permission. Most photos do not have usage restrictions.

iStockPhoto – another great site with high-quality images and rock bottom prices. Web resolution photos run around $1, quality design element sets from $5, etc.
